IAPTC is an open association of centres, institutions, agencies and programs dealing with peace operations research, education, and training.The IAPTC conference provides a global platform for all peacekeeping training institutes.

In addition, presence of regional training centres, heads of different think tank organizations, intellectuals from different specialization and thematic fields add value to the conference. The in-person interaction of experts from different fields, thematic supplementary days (such as the UN Police Day, IAPTC Plus etc.), opportunities for bilateral/multilateral cooperation, but also representing rich and traditional cultural heritage of the host nation bears special significance for the 26^th Annual Conference of IAPTC.
