During the closing ceremony the participants were addressed by the PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Elvedin Omić, Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Selmo Cikotić and UN Women representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr.David Saunders. The importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s contribution to international security, stability and prosperity through the engagement of police officers to UN police missions was stressed and this course was seen as very important in this context. This course is a great example of cooperation between Ministry of defense and Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of training and education. PSOTC commandant also emphasized that this course, contributes to the positive image not only of the Peace Support Operations Training Centre, but also the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the state as a whole.
