The opening ceremony was augmented by the presence of the EUFOR Commander, Major General Anton Wessely, Austrian Defence Attaché Colonel Erich Simbürger, and the PSOTC Commandant Colonel Elvedin Omić. All in total33participants from 17 different countries, 11 from BiH, and 22 from other 16 countries participate at the CSDP Orientation Course. The course aim is to provide participants with a broad understanding of CSDP. In particular, participants were introduced to the CSDP institutional framework, current policies, as well as structures and processes. Participants have the opportunity to create a network of people working in the field of CSDP. The final goal of the CSDP Orientation Course is to support EU Member States and EU Institutions and Agencies in training own personnel in order to be able to work in CSDP- related fields at operational and strategic level.
