Peace Support Operation Staff Officers Course Started at PSOTC

Today, 29th November 2021, the Peace Support Operation Staff Officers Course with the Euro-Atlantic Security Module integrated started at the PSOTC.

The Euro-Atlantic Security Module will be delivered during the first week from 29th November to 3rd December 2021 in cooperation with the Faculty of Political Science University of Sarajevo. 20 students are  participating at the Euro-Atlantic Security Module, 13 from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 4 students from  the University of Sarajevo and the University of Mostar and 3 from abroad (1 from North Macedonia and 2 from Turkey). The aim of the course is to expand participant's theoretical foundations of various organizations that deal with the European Security, such as NATO, OSCE, the European Union, and particularly on its Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).

From the week two, 13 participants from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and two from abroad (1 from North Macedonia and 1 from Turkey) will continue education process at the Peace Support Operation Staff Officers Course which is scheduled to finish on 23rd December 2021. The aim of the Peace Support Operation Staff Officers Course is to prepare nationally trained staff officers for assignments in multinational tactical level HQ conducting NATO-led Peace Support Operations.
