After two years of not having the Marketplace event due to COVID-19 pandemic, NATO HQ organized PTECs Marketplace 2022 at the NATO HQ in Brussels from 14th to 16th November 2022. The PTECs Marketplace 2022 was opened by the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Mircea Geoană, Director General of the IMS, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, NATO School Commandant, Colonel Jay Smith. This PTECs Marketplace has been attended by 26 out of 34 PTEC members, NATO Allies and NATO partners, IS and IMS Staff. PSOTC was proud having the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to NATO, Mr. Mitar Kujundžić and the Military Representative of BIH to NATO and EU, Col Edin Fako. At this year’s Marketplace, 26 out of 34 PTECs from Allied and partner countries are promoting Centres and what they offer, while highlighting their education and training achievements. This was  an excellent opportunity for meet with different Centers and gain insights into the ongoing cooperation between PTECs and NATO.

Since 1999, PTECs have played a key role in supporting NATO partnerships, notably by offering multiple courses and trainings in a number of critical areas (defence reform, crisis management, humanitarian demining, military trauma life support…). Moreover, the PTECs are deeply involved in the implementation of some key NATO capacity building programs. In addition, some Centers provide expertise in the development of NATO policies such as the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. Finally, the setting up of Mobile Experts Training Teams, the offer of venues for multinational exercises and the support to NATO’s Education, Training, Exercises, and Evaluation (ETEE) Policy are also part of PTEC activities. PSOTC had the honor to be part of this program.

Besides PTECs Marketplace 2022, additionally, the PTEC Working Group meeting and the Training on the electronic Partnership Real-time information, Management and Exchange System (ePRIME) was held as well.
