The conference was organized by the Finnish International Defence Centre (FINCENT) which acts as a Department Head for MC2PS. Due to the pandemic, this year the conference was held online. The purpose of the Conference is to review the MC2PS Discipline status and further develop MC2PS education and training opportunities (programs, courses, seminars) curently available for NATO members and partners. Also one of the goals is to bring together the key organizations and stakeholders responsible for Peace Support and Peacekeeping operations, the research institutions and education and training providers, in order to facilitate collective support within the Community. The desired main outcome of the Conference was the Discipline Alignment Plan (DAP) which would reflect major developments and achievements and outline the way ahead with respect to MC2PS. This Conference is of a great significance to PSOTC as the Centre has several NATO approved courses withing this discipline.
