Utility of Gender in Peace Support Operations Course (UGPSOC) Successfully Concluded at Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH)
After five days of intensive lectures, discussions, and practical training, the Utility of Gender in Peace Support Operations Course (UGPSOC) concluded today, 11 April 2025, with a formal closing ceremony at the Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC). It included participation from 33 individuals representing 17 nations. The course aimed to enhance understanding of gender dynamics within peace support operations.

PSOTC Concludes Media Management in PSO Basic Course
Today, the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BIH) concluded the Media Management in Peace Support Operations Basic Course (MMPSOBC) with a formal closing ceremony. The course was conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo and took place from 17 to 21 March 2025.

Defence Higher Education Training Course Successfully Concludes at PSOTC
The Defence Higher Education Trainer (DHET) Course has concluded after an intensive week of training at the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC). Delivered by a Mobile Training Team from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, this course provided 16 members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BIH) with advanced pedagogical skills to enhance their effectiveness in higher education environments.

PSOTC Participation at ADF, PTEC Marketplace, and PTEC WG Meeting in Mons, Belgium
From 17 to 20 February 2025, a delegation from the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH), led by the PSOTC’s Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić, actively participated in the Annual Discipline Forum (ADF), the Partnership Training and Education Centres (PTEC) Marketplace, and the PTEC Working Group (WG) Meeting held in Mons, Belgium.

Maryland National Guard Delegation Visits Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC)
On 12 February 2025, the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Maryland National Guard, led by Major General Janeen Birckhead, the Adjutant General. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from the Office for Defence Cooperation of the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Introductory Visit of the Netherlands Defence Attaché to PSOTC
Today, January 31, 2025, the Netherlands (NLD) Defence Attaché (DA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colonel Bob Segaar, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Henry Van Der Broek, the NLD Senior National Representative (SNR) in the EUFOR ALTHEA Mission, met with the PSOTC Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić.

Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Chief of Staff Handover-Takeover Visit to PSOTC
Today, Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić, Commandant of the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC), and his staff hosted the outgoing TRADOC Chief of Staff, Colonel Slobodan Simić, along with his successor, Colonel Savo Vidaković., marking COL Vidaković's first official visit to PSOTC in his newly appointed role.
