PSOTC had a pleasure to host a delegation of the Pakistan National Defence University led by the Armed Forces War College Commandant, MG Hidayat ur Rehman, accompanied by the Ambassador of IR Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery, the Defence Attaché of IR Pakistan, Group Captain Haseeb Gul and representative of the MoD of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Col Ahmed Zubača.

The Field Study Program of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies from the Military Academy - the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia
As part of their Field Study Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Advanced Security and Defence Studies representatives and students from the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia together with the Defense Attaché of the Republic of Serbia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, LtC Predrag Mičić, and representative of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Col Velibor Purković, visited PSOTC.

International Staff Officer Skills Course was Completed
From 24th March to 17th of April 2014, PSOTC conducted International Staff Officer Skills Course which is NATO Selected four weeks long course. Beside PSOTC staff, guest lecturers from the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, NATO HQ Sa, CSS Sarajevo, OSCE and USAID gave a huge contribution to quality of the course.

“The Conference on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict” - the Way Ahead
The Conference on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict (Empowering the role of regional security forces in peace support operations) held in Sarajevo in the Army Hall on 28th March 2014 marked the establishment of the Peace Support Operations Training Centre as the regional focus for this important topic. With over 150 governments, agencies and other organisations represented from ministerial level downwards, the Prevention of Sexual Violence Initiative has achieved an all time high profile.

NATO's Military Partnership Workshop has been held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia from 1st – 4th April, which has been attended by the delegation of Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Col Dragoš Milanković MoD BiH and Col Smajo Hadžajlija BiH LNO to NATO SHAPE in Mons, and LtC Hazim Hodžić PSOTC.

THE NATO HQ SA LEADERSHIP SUPPORT TO PSOTC’S ACTIVITIES
The PSOTC was honoured to receive two key speakers today, 01 April, to address the students on the International Staff Officers Skills Course. Brigadier General Merle D Hart, the Commandant of HQ NATO Sarajevo, addressed the audience on the new tasks and challenges facing NATO together with an update on current NATO operations.

Conference "Preventing sexual violence in conflict" – only by joint efforts we can achieve reduction and prevention of sexual violence in conflict
Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC), in cooperation with the embassies of United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Norway, hosted the Conference “"Preventing sexual violence in conflict-empowering the role of regional security forces in peace support operations", which is held on 28.03.2014. in the Armed Forces Hall in Sarajevo.
