The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH) successfully conducted the second iteration of the Building Integrity in Peace Support Operations Train the Trainers Course (BIPSOT3C) in Sarajevo from 8 to 17 September 2026.

The course brought together 19 participants from eight countries, including seven representatives from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside 12 international participants. Designed to develop trainers' competencies, BIPSOT3C aims to prepare participants to plan, design, develop, conduct, and evaluate Building Integrity (BI) training within Peace Support Operations (PSO). Throughout the course, participants deepened their understanding of key Building Integrity principles and examined practical approaches to fostering integrity and mitigating corruption in complex operational environments.

The programme addressed a range of topics essential to the effective integration of Building Integrity principles into peace support operations. Participants deepened their subject-matter expertise in Building Integrity while strengthening their ability to manage and deliver individual training activities. The course also provided a valuable platform for professional exchange, enabling participants to share experiences, best practices, and perspectives from their respective national and institutional contexts.

As a NATO Partnership Education and Training Centre, PSOTC continues to develop professional capabilities that underpin effective, transparent, and accountable peace support operations. By bringing together military, police, and civilian personnel from partner nations and institutions, the Centre fosters interoperability, strengthens international cooperation, and promotes a shared understanding of integrity as a key component of operational effectiveness.

The successful completion of BIPSOT3C further reinforces the role of PSOTC and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in advancing high-quality Building Integrity education and training. Through multinational cooperation, capacity building, and professional exchange, the Centre continues to support national and international efforts to strengthen good governance, enhance institutional resilience, and contribute to peace, security, and stability in operational environments worldwide.
