During this five-day course, 16 participants from 11 countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Georgia, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Switzerland, Tunisia, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and the United States - completed the BISNCOC programme successfully. The course has been designed to enhance awareness of corruption and promote integrity by improving the leadership and management skills of Senior Non-Commissioned Officers.
The BISNCOC included major modules on concepts of integrity in democratic societies, maintaining ethical standards within the Armed Forces, and identifying corruption risks and integrity challenges in mission settings. It was facilitated by PSOTC staff with significant support from the NATO Building Integrity Team at NATO HQ Brussels, the Inspector General Office of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BIH Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption, Parliamentary Commissioner BiH, and Transparency International BIH.
Upon completing the BISNCOC, participants acquired valuable insights into corruption awareness and integrity promotion. This enhanced their leadership and management skills, elevating their professionalism and preparing them to excel in national and international contexts.
