On 15 September 2017, after four day of a highly dynamic, interactive and productive work Colonel dr. Jasmin Čajić opened the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as the very last session of 23th IAPTC Annual Conference in Cairo. The purpose AGM is to summarize all benefits, conclusions and suggestions collected from the Executive Committee members and participants throughout the conference. Overall impressions confirmed the necessity of IAPTC as a significant association and distinctive and unavoidable factor in the global architecture of training for peacekeeping operations.

During the closing ceremony, PSOTC Commandant Colonel dr. Jasmin Čajić handed over the flag to the Director of the Cairo Center for Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping in Africa (CCCPA) Mr. Ashraf Swelam. Colonel Čajić emphasized his personal as well as institutional dedication to IAPTC and offered help to the CCCPA during their presidency and to New Zealand as the future host. Hosting rotation rule of IAPTC Annual Conference has been established between four regions: Europe, Africa, Pacific/Asia and Americas. During the Annual General Meeting Uruguay confirmed their readiness to host conference in 2019 and Italy stepped up with an unofficial offer to be the host of IAPTC in 2020, which once more confirmed a huge interest of peacekeeping and conflict resolution training centres from around the world to actively participate in this valuable association. In accordance with IAPTC Articles of Association, the PSOTC representative will hold the chair in the Executive Committee in capacity of the past president during the upcoming IAPTC Annual Conference in Auckland, New Zealand.
Once again, the PSOTC team has done a tremendous job, demonstrating the capability and competence to perform such a demanding role of IAPTC Presidency in a very successful manner. This commendable performance is another indicator of the overall success of Bosnia and Herzegovina on its transformation path from a security consumer to a security provider
