Farewell Courtesy Call to Peace Support Operations Training Centre by the Outgoing German Defence Attaché

The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) hosted Lieutenant Colonel Franz Josef Nolte, the outgoing Defence Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with his successor, Lieutenant Colonel Marc Abendroth, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Lieutenant Colonel Nolte and Lieutenant Colonel Abendroth, distinguished German military diplomatic representatives, were warmly welcomed by PSOTC Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić and his core staff. During the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Alibašić provided an insightful briefing to familiarize the new Defence Attaché with PSOTC’s historical highlights, current activities, ongoing projects, and future initiatives.

 In addition, on behalf of all PSOTC members, the PSOTC Commandant expressed heartfelt appreciation to Lieutenant Colonel Nolte for his significant contributions and tremendous support throughout his tenure in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He wished Lieutenant Colonel Nolte continued success in his personal and professional endeavors.

 In his farewell remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Nolte stated his satisfaction with the excellent cooperation experienced during his tenure. He also conveyed his strong belief that the partnership between PSOTC and the German Defence Attaché’s Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Abendroth, will be further strengthened in the future.
