Farewell to PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Elvedin Omić

On July 22, 2024, the Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC) hosted a farewell ceremony to honor Colonel Elvedin Omić as he transitions from his role as the PSOTC’s Commandant to his new position.

Colonel Omić assumed command of PSOTC in September 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience from previous assignments, including as the NATO Headquarters IMS Officer in Brussels, the Chief of the International Cooperation Section at the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Chief of the Wider Security Sector Courses Section at PSOTC. His next assignment will be as the Deputy Head of the Military Part of the Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to NATO and the Military Attaché of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Belgium.

During his nearly four-year tenure as Commandant, Colonel Omić played a pivotal role in the modernization, growth, and advancement of PSOTC. His unwavering dedication to excellence, professionalism, and the welfare of his team was evident in all aspects of his leadership. Under his guidance, PSOTC consistently achieved ambitious yet realistic objectives, upholding high standards of integrity. Colonel Omić’s expertise, leadership, and personal investment in his team have left an enduring legacy at PSOTC.
