This annual gathering brings together a network of training centres and institutions in Allied and partner countries to exchange ideas, expertise, and cutting-edge solutions in military education and training.

The PTEC Marketplace 2023 was opened by the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Mircea Geoană, the Director General of the International Military Staff, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, the Director Cooperative Security Division, MG Tiberiu Serban, and the NATO School Commandant, Colonel Jay Smith.

At this year’s Marketplace, 24 out of 34 ptecs from Allied and partner countries are promoting their work and what they offer, while highlighting their education and training achievements. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet representatives of different education and training facilities and gain insights into the ongoing cooperation between PTEC and NATO.

PSOTC is proud to have support from the Military Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to NATO and EU, Colonel Edin Fako, and other members of the Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to NATO during this event.

 Since 1999, ptecs have played a key role in supporting NATO partnership, notably by offering multiple courses and other training events in a number of critical areas (defence reform, crisis management, humanitarian demining, peace support, etc.). Moreover, the ptecs are deeply involved in the implementation of some key NATO capacity-building programs. In addition, some Centers provide expertise in the development of NATO policies such as the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. Finally, the setting up of Mobile Experts Training Teams, the offer of venues for multinational exercises, and the support to NATO’s Education, Training, Exercises, and Evaluation (ETEE) Policy are also part of PTEC activities. PSOTC had the honor to be part of this program.
